Description:

This 8 week program is a multi-faceted full body workout. Some may think that the USSTA is just for young athletes, but this program caters to all levels. The workout involves all angles of training including the following; functional movement training such as vertimax work, ladder drills, hip stability and hurdle mobility, cone drills, medicine ball work, plyometrics, bungee resistance training, resistance training, free weights, among various other elements of training. The program is designed to burn fat and build lean muscle mass.

Workout Format:

The workout starts out with a dynamic warm-up to stimulate blood flow and synovial fluid movement.

1st. The next phase involves some sort of functional movement training such as body balance work, footwork, plyometrics, hurdle work, among others.

2nd. The next phase involves extreme core work, not just abs, but all aspects of “CORE TRAINING” glutes, lower back, oblique’s, and abdominals.

3rd. The next phase is the full body workout consisting of lower body and upperbody exercises. The workout involves a plethora of exercises that involve free weights, machines, band work, stability ball work, Olympic weightlifting, among others.

4th. The final phase entails some type of conditioning whether it be interval training, obstacle course, or over-speed training on our Woodway treadmills.

We always do various types of static stretching after our workouts and dynamic movements before our workouts.

PLEASE REMEMBER THIS WORKOUT CATERS TO ALL  LEVELS!!!

KEY POINTS:

One major advantage to this program is the workouts never stay the same. Each day the workouts are different with new exercises in all phases. Some major lifts stay the same, but the advantage is this program’s inability to make you plateau.

The workouts are fun and up-tempo. The hardest part is getting that motivation and inspiration to get to the gym. Check out these testimonials and see if they inspire you to promote yourself a healthy and active lifestyle.
