For the 2010 club volleyball season, The United States Sports Training Academy has partnered with the most dynamic volleyball club in Louisiana, the red storm. Since 2006, the red storm has offered young volleyball players an opportunity to improve volleyball skills in a highly competitive atmosphere.

The role of the USSTA is to provide these athletes the opportunity to improve overall athletic skills through custom designed training programs. Each athlete, under the guidance of the coaches at The USSTA, will focus on the development of strength and conditioning, explosiveness, quickness, flexibility, cardio, core, balance, and overall speed. The USSTA is the only training facility to offer the 3 Dimensional vision training system to improve depth perception and peripheral vision giving our athletes the ability to read and react quicker.

With the partnership of The Red Storm and The USSTA, a new era in club volleyball has begun.

The programs motto “CAN YOU HANDLE THIS!”

Raiders Baseball Program

Stacy

The Baton Rouge Raiders will enter the 2010 season with a new approach; Bigger, stronger, faster.

The USSTA has teamed with the Baton Rouge Raiders AAA tournament baseball program to offer a big league experience. Each player will focus on the development of strength and conditioning, speed, quickness, explosiveness, flexibility and running skills. With the 3 Dimensional vision training program used to improve depth perception and peripheral vision, it will help hitters read the type of pitch, speed of the ball, and location. The vision program will help pitchers focus on pitch location or “target”, and fielders to read and react quicker to balls hit off the bat.

The objective of the program is the development of skills for young players for a more enjoyable and competitive future in “Americas Game”.

Had a great last day at work and I really appreciate all the love and support I have from the people I work with at Central School District especially those at Bellingrath and Tanglewood…..I will keep all of you in my thoughts as I travel and am excited and ready to go to Korea and take care of business….I came home from my day at work and rested and trying to adjust to the time change I will experience in Korea….Unfortunately they are 15 hours ahead of our time and it will be a tough adjustment and therefore I am preparing early….Tomorrow is my last day of training at the United States Sports Training Academy and I would also like to thank all the support I am receiving from my family there including Duke, Randy, Derek, Stacy, Tressy, and of course all the kids….You are all on my mind as I travel……Love y’all and God Bless
